The Unworthy by Agustina Bazterrica

A truly wonderful book that is in equal parts beautiful and vile. From the author of the renowned Tender is the Flesh, The Unworthy is a formidable follow up novel that has cemented Bazterrica as one of the masters of modern horror. Bazterrica’s ability to create outlandish worlds that feel horribly real is truly astounding and her use of narrative as sociological insight make her books not only a pleasure to read, but also something to shape you and make you see the world a little differently. I cannot recommend this book more to anyone that loves horror that is both insightful and utterly depraved.

Lightly used. Never dog-eared.
