Bacata Artisan is Alba LaRrotta, a unique self-taught artist that works primarily with found, recycled, and repurposed materials to achieve her signature style. Her work is a clash between organic forms, brutalist materials, and aleatoric techniques that creates objects that feel both familiar and utterly surreal.
Her beautiful work is made all the more impressive as she has Macular Degeneration that has made her lose most of vision. Still, this does not deter her from creating unique, beautiful, and thoughtful pieces that show a true outsider artists talent.
